Over 100 Youth have got the help they need because of TF Support Networking
THE PROJECT
TF Support Networking is a community organization that tries to help youth dealing with problems like mental illnesses depression and suicidal thoughts. We give youth a one on one interaction with one of the youth from our team. The youth from our team will do everything he/she can to assist the youth. We can recommend professionals help find support or even just having a safe conversation to release some feelings. We are strong advocates for anti-bullying and mental health awareness. We are here to do what we can to help youth as much as possible!
THE HARD TRUTH
At any given time, percentage of Canadians who have a mental illness: 10.4%
That means in 2013 3.6564 Million Canadians suffered from a mental illness.
90% of people who commit suicide have a mental illness
Approximately 4000 canadians commit suicide each year
Most people in canada with depression are under 20 years old and considered a youth
You may be suprised by these Facts. Unforuntatnly this is the hard truth we live with. TF Support Networking plans to lower these numbers making suicide no longer a common. Helping those with mental illnesses get what they need to be okay.
